In San Diego recently there has been a trial of some brilliant new innovative surgery that helps with arthritis for dogs.

Keyway an 8 year old German Shepherd dog has just had elbow joint replacement surgery for joint arthritis and is now recovering well. His front elbow joints were replaced with special prosthetic joints to help him walk without pain.

It would be nice if we could avoid surgery for dog arthritis but it’s also good to know that we can help when supplements like glucosamine for dogs is not enough.
